South Pennsylvania Railroad Books This set of books is divided into counties and made into approx. 100 pages and reveals where many railroad sites are located or should have been located. *Somerset is a three volume set and if sold seperatly for $20.00 each Plus S&H. or as a set. | South Pennsylvania Railroads Survey Maps in Picture Frames  About this map: Notice a line beginning at the top right corner. This line is actually the alternate alignment. This alternate alignment is seen crossing what was to be the actual choosen alignment coming out from the 3:00 position. Notice the alternate crosses and drops south and travels south east of the town of Somerset and then climbs to the northeast of the town and then curves north around just outside the town. The section of this alternate route north and west would become the alignment of the PW&S railroad and later the Pennsylvania Turnpike exiting the map at the 9:00 position to head west. The choosen route is seen disappearing to the north well north of the town seen here on this map at the 12:00 position. These maps will adorn your wall and make a great gift and conversation piece as friends come over to visit.
